Help shape our housing policies
We are developing and reviewing housing and tenancy related policies that affect the safety, wellbeing and rights of our residents.
We are currently consulting on our draft hate crime policy, and we invite you to share your views. This policy is an important part of how we support safe and respectful communities, and your feedback will help shape the final version before it is agreed by the Council.
Alongside this, we have recently completed consultations on several other policies. Thank you to everyone who took part and shared feedback on our domestic abuse, damp and mould, assignment and succession, and property safety (including fire safety, gas safety and asbestos management) policies. We will keep residents informed on when the final policies are adopted.
Additional policies will be uploaded to this page for consultation as they become available, so please check back regularly for new opportunities to get involved.
How your feedback will be used
All responses received during the consultation will be reviewed and analysed to identify key themes, suggestions and areas for improvement.
Feedback will be used to:
- refine and strengthen the policy
- ensure the policy reflects the needs and experiences of residents and partners
- identify areas where additional guidance, procedures or staff training may be required to support implementation.
Where appropriate, amendments will be incorporated into the final version of the policy before it is formally adopted.
If you have any questions about the policies or the consultation process - please contact us on housingfeedback@brent.gov.uk
