Sidmouth Road DA Report

We have had concerns raised by residents about pedestrians crossing on Sidmouth Road and requests to introduce measures to improve road safety.

The concerns have been discussed with your ward Councillors and it is proposed to introduce central island on Sidmouth Road. The island will virtually and physically narrow the road width, and this should slow vehicle speeds. The proposal will also enhance safety, convenience, and connectivity for pedestrians.
