Kilburn High Road is extremley busy and unsafe carrying a high volume of vehicles per day 12,500 cars lorries and buses alongside pedestrians and cyclists .

Road Traffic accidents on KHR are amongst the highest in London 112 casualties between may2018 and april 2021 alone

The town centre is a challenge to navigate for the elderly and those with or disabled mobility issues

Air quality is poor too : sites on Kilburn High Road are over 4 times higher than the WHO recomended levels of NO2 with higher rates of of repiratory illnes than other areas of Brent and Camden . Access to open space and nature is limited with citizens only able to access between 0.3 and 0.6 open space per 100 population against national standard of 5.35ha.

Support This -> Kilburn High Road is unsustainable and unhealthy for ALL users - vehicle drivers included. If Brent is serious about tackling the climate emergency and working 'together' to reduce carbon footprint something must be done to reduce traffic and especially vehicle speeds

As a cyclist I hate using Kilburn High Road. Separate cycle lanes would be a huge improvement
