Staples Corner is currently a concrete eyesore yet in other cities (Lisbon, Berlin) these have been made into a feature by inviting street artists. The flyover could be converted into a vast public art installation which not only beautifies the concrete but would attract visitors. This complements other ideas such as a ‘Highline’ and redevelopment of the canal. Incidentally it would be great if there could be a fully circular path around the Welsh Harp which could link up with a redeveloped canal area including a new Welsh Harp pub and recreation area similar to what that existed pre-A406. Huge possibilities. Nature, street art, markets and artist studios could make this unloved part of London a destination as happened with Kings Cross. A bit of imagination could go a long way
