The school should not relocate to Strathcona Road

There are already a number of schools in the area creating major traffic difficulties at the beginning and end of the school day. In my experience pupils are likely to arrive by car rather than use South Kenton station or the 223 bus. As there is no direct link to Strathcona Road from East Lane through the industrial estate (it is gated at the Strathcona Road end) those coming from the south of the borough by car will need to use Harrow Road/ Wembley Hill Road/Preston Road which will add to the existing high level of traffic. This will also add to the use of rat runs such Llanover Road, Clarendon Gardens and Pembroke Road. There are already Wembley Primary School, East Lane Primary School, Preston Park Primary School and Byron Court Primary School in the area as well as two secondary schools. The traffic created by yet another school run would be intolerable.

Please don’t use the Strathcona Road site.
