Beresford Avenue (HA0) Area CPZ

In November 2021 the Council received a petition from residents in Heather Park Drive and surrounding area requesting the Council to consult on implementing parking controls. The petition raises the concerns of parking difficulties by local residents in Beresford Avenue, Newcombe Park, Craigmuir Park, Highcroft Avenue, Kenmere Gardens, Heather Park Drive and Mount Pleasant.

Further to receiving the petition, officers have visited and observed the parking pressure in the area. It is also acknowledged that development in the area may result in more on-street parking pressures in the future. As part of 2022-23 CPZ programme, the Council have agreed for officers to consult you on CPZ proposals.
