Beverley Drive Area CPZ

All the kerbside road space on Beverley Drive (from Stag Lane to Waltham Drive), Holyrood Gardens, Stag Lane and Melrose Gardens will be controlled. Yellow lines will be introduced to control road junctions (double yellow line) and vehicular accesses (single yellow). This will prevent obstructive parking on junctions and across driveways. It will also improve accessibility for pedestrians, the disabled, emergency services and refuse collection.

Parking will be either for permit holder or in 'pay by phone’ bays. Residents will need to purchase permits if they, or their visitors, wish to park in the designated bays during the scheme’s operational times you prefer in the questionnaire. However, permits are not required for residents who park in their own driveways.

General information about parking and permit charges in Brent is enclosed and is also available on the Council’s Website; https://www.brent.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/parking

Consultation

27 February 2026 00:00 - 21 March 2026 00:00

In December 2025, the Council received a petition from residents in the Beverley Drive area requesting the Council to introduce a controlled parking zone (CPZ). The petitioners raised concerns that commuters and other non-residents frequently park in the area for extended periods, making it increasingly difficult for residents to find available spaces. Petitioners also highlighted reduced visibility when existing driveways, traffic congestion and road safety concerns. As part of the 2025-26 Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) programme, the Council has decided to consult residents on proposed CPZ measures for their street.
