Church End Market Relocation Consultation

Brent Council is currently building 99 new council homes and a market square on the site of the former car park in Church End. The market attracts visitors to the area and helps support the local economy. Whilst the new homes are being built, the existing market will need to be temporarily moved onto Church Road (between Roundwood Road and Ilex Road) on a Wednesday and Saturday for approximately 2-years. Once the new homes are constructed, it is anticipated the market will move back into a new ‘market square’ which is being delivered as part of the development.

To enable the market to be relocated, we are proposing to introduce a series of traffic and parking restrictions. This will enable market stalls to be set up in Church Road and traders to park their vehicles in the local area on Market Days (Wednesdays and Saturdays).
