Damp and Mould Policy - Have your Say

Brent Council developed a Damp and Mould Policy, which set out how housing services would fix and prevent cases of damp and mould in our homes. We recognised the significant impact damp and mould could have on the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents, and this policy reflected our commitment to tackling this in a robust and consistent way.

We had an online survey live from 20 April 2026 to 31 May 2026, which was open to all Brent residents and partners, and we were especially keen to hear from our tenants. We were grateful for the feedback we received, and the ‘You Said, We Did’ document below shares how your feedback impacted the final policy.
