Craven Park Network Rail Bridge

Pedestrian safety concerns were raised regarding lack of footway width along the existing bridge. HGV access from Brentfield Rd to Church Road via Craven Park is also of detriment to pedestrian travel and HGV traffic will be restricted. However, HGV access to properties in the area affected will still be permitted.

Network Rail are proposing to elevate the existing railway bridge which will allow greater clearance for trains. As part of the works the existing bridge will be completely removed, and a new bridge will be installed. While these works are undertaken, we are also proposing to introduce a local safety scheme on Craven Park Network Rail Bridge.
