Brent’s new Council Plan will play a part in helping to shape the borough’s future over the next four years. It will set out the Council’s priorities and the actions we’ll take to make Brent a better place to live, work and thrive.

A plan that reflects our shared aspirations
The Council Plan will set out:
- The priorities that will guide the Council’s work over the next four years
- What we want to achieve for local people and communities
- How the Council will work to deliver these priorities
- How we will track progress, measure success and keep you updated on the progress we’re making
Developing the Plan gives us an opportunity to focus on what matters most to you, set ambitious but realistic goals, and ensure our resources are focused where they can make the greatest impact.

What happens next?
We'll carefully review all the feedback you share with us, alongside what we've heard from residents through other conversations, community events and surveys, as well as local data and evidence.
This will help us create a draft Council Plan that reflects the priorities, concerns and ambitions of the people who live in Brent.
The final Council Plan is expected to be approved by Full Council in November 2026. We'll keep you updated on our progress and continue to share how residents' views have helped shape the Plan.
