The London Boroughs of Brent, Camden and the City of Westminster are consulting on the Better, Safer Kilburn Scheme. We want Kilburn Town Centre to be a safe and pleasant place for everyone to walk and shop, for you to sit and relax, and for businesses to flourish. The proposals also aim to improve road safety and air quality along the High Road and protect bus journey times.

We are proposing: 

• Widening pavements
• Adding benches, new lights, trees, cycle parking
• More pedestrian crossing
• More cycle crossings
• Pocket parks and greenery
• Longer bus lane hours
• Side road restrictions
