Elective Home Education Guidance

This guidance is intended to explain how Brent Council discharges the duties in relation to children who are being educated at home, and how those relate to the obligations of parents.

The policy has been refreshed to provide clarity on how Brent Council identifies children not receiving a suitable education; and in respect to safeguarding and special educational needs.
