Maybank Open Space Playground Improvements Consultation

Brent Council would like to hear from it’s local residents in relation to proposals to enhance the playground at Maybank Open Space.

An opportunity to apply for Section 106 funding presented itself and a bid submitted by the Parks Service has been successful.

Items are due to be removed and sensory items installed in there place.

The funds are limited but will enable some improvements to be made at site.

Proposal

• Removal of existing roundabout due to age of item
• Installation of new Inclusive Multi spinner carousel and safety surfacing
• Installation of new coloured wet pour safety surfacing under basket swing
• Installation of new inclusive sensory board
• Installation of floor graphics
• All other items will remain as is due to budget
