Mulgrave Road Secure Cycle Parking Consultation
A key aspect of this initiative is to support cycling for brent residents. Cycling helps reduce traffic and air pollution, improves public health, and offers a low-cost sustainable way to travel. A lack of secure storage is a key barrier for many residents, and bike nests help address this by providing safe, convenient on street parking.
Through the installation of dedicated secure cycle parking units, the Council aims to embed environmental sustainability into daily life, making cycling easier and safer for residents.

Phases
Consultation
We are proposing to introduce a secure cycle parking unit on Mulgrave Road as shown in the enclosed plan. The proposed secure cycle parking unit will be located opposite 16 Mulgrave Road.
The bike nest occupies around half a car parking space and provides a secure storage for up to 6 bicycles; each space will be rented to users for an annual fee.
