Oliver Goldsmith Primary School Proposed Safety Scheme

The council has received a number of complaints from the local community regarding obstructive parking during school “drop off” and “pick up” times.

In collaboration with the ward councillors and Oliver Goldsmith Primary School further mitigation measures have been identified to improve the road safety outside the school entrance on Coniston Gardens, NW9

 The aim of the scheme is to:

• Prevent obstructive and dangerous parking
• Improve visibility and traffic flow
• Improve road safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists, particularly the vulnerable road users
• Enable the Council to take effective enforcement action including the use of CCTV camera cars where vehicles stop to set down passengers or park on the proposed School Keep Clear Markings.
