Pledge to go "Car Free" this Car Free Day!

Will you make a pledge to go car free this Car Free Day? Be part of the solution to the climate emergency and help improve air pollution. Pledge to ditch the car this Car Free Day (running 18 - 22 September) and, wherever possible, walk, cycle, or take public transport instead.

We will be celebrating London Car Free Day on Saturday 18 September. This is an offshoot of World Car Free Day, on Wednesday 22 September, targeted at a local level.

London Car Free Day aims to champion traffic-free city centres and active travel in London, and in cities around the world.

The campaign is dedicated to promoting regular car-free days and celebrating the opportunity to give more space to pedestrians and cyclists, making it easier and safer to walk and cycle. This will help to combat the climate emergency and help to improve local air quality.
