Randall Avenue Area CPZ
In June 2026, the Council received a petition from residents in the Randall Avenue area requesting measures to manage parking both during normal periods and on event days at Wembley National Stadium. Petitioners highlighted concerns that commuters and other non-residents routinely park in the area for extended periods, making it increasingly difficult for residents to find parking spaces close to their homes. They also raised concerns regarding reduced visibility at driveways, increased traffic congestion and associated road safety issues.
As part of the Council’s 2026/27 Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) Programme, the Council has decided to consult residents on proposals to introduce a CPZ in their area to help address these concerns.
At this stage of the process, we are seeking your initial views on whether you support the proposed parking controls for your street and the wider area shown at the back of the page. Should the proposals receive majority support, the scheme will proceed to the statutory consultation stage, during which residents will have a further opportunity to comment on the detailed design of the scheme.
Phases
Consultation
All the kerbside road space on Randall Avenue, Kenwyn Drive, Tanfield Avenue, Cairnfield Avenue, Avondale Avenue, Ashcombe Park, The Circle, Chartley Avenue, Eastleigh Close and Dollis Hill Lane (from Randall Avenue to Dudden Hill Lane) will be controlled. Yellow lines will be introduced to control road junctions (double yellow line) and vehicular accesses (single yellow). This will prevent obstructive parking on junctions and across driveways. It will also improve accessibility for pedestrians, the disabled, emergency services and refuse collection.
Parking will be either for permit holder or in 'pay by phone’ bays. Residents will need to purchase permits if they, or their visitors, wish to park in the designated bays during the scheme’s operational times you prefer in the questionnaire. However, permits are not required for residents who park in their own driveways.
