Safer Brent Community Safety Strategy Consultation (2027–2030)

The Safer Brent Partnership is Brent's Community Safety Partnership (CSP), bringing together the Council, Police, Fire Brigade, health services, probation services, voluntary sector organisations, and victim support agencies to reduce crime, tackle anti-social behaviour, and improve community safety across the borough.

Through the community safety strategy, the partnership's work focuses on protecting vulnerable people, reducing reoffending, making high-risk locations safer, and building strong, confident communities. By taking part in this consultation, you can help influence the future direction of community safety in Brent over the next three years.

Why are we reviewing the strategy?

These priorities have helped shape community safety work across Brent over recent years. As we look ahead to the next strategy, we want to understand whether these issues remain your main concerns and to identify any new or emerging challenges that should be prioritised.

When we consulted residents and partners previously, you told us that the most important community safety priorities were:

1. Tackling violent crime
2. Challenging domestic abuse, sexual abuse and violence against women and girls
3. Focusing on incidents impacting our community
4. Protecting those most vulnerable

Your views will help ensure the Safer Brent Community Safety Strategy 2027–2030 reflects the experiences, concerns, and priorities of Brent's residents, businesses, and communities.

What happens next

Once the consultation closes, responses will be analysed alongside local crime data and partner intelligence to identify Brent's community safety priorities for 2027–2030. The findings will help shape the new Community Safety Strategy, and a summary of the results and final strategy will be published following the consultation.

The consultation and survey will close at 23:59 on 9 October.
