Policy for Supporting the Education of Children

The current published Health Needs Policy was written in 2018.

The refresh was undertaken with the support of a multi-agency working group including parents/carers that has been looking into development of the Brent response to Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

The policy (attached) aims to provide guidance around responsibilities for Brent Council, schools and partner agencies. It is centred on high quality integrated service provision to promote better outcomes for potentially vulnerable children and young people.
