Staples Corner Businesses!
The Council is currently developing the Staples Corner Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), and we want your input with deciding how the document can better support local business growth and development!
Staples Corner is identified as an area of industrial and housing growth in Brent's Local Plan to provide a range of new business premises fit for modern day occupiers with a new mixed community including new homes. Brent Council wants to ensure that any new development in Staples Corner benefits the existing businesses.
To help us achieve this, we have created a short survey for businesses in the area. We appreciate your feedback and for completing the survey.
What is a Masterplan?
A Masterplan is a plan of action for the area. This plan will set out where employment spaces, infrastructure, community facilities and new homes should be built/improved.
The plan will also recommend where new businesses are likely to grow and expand and opportunities where infrastructure improvements could benefit the growth and development of existing businesses.
Once developed, the masterplan will be adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), which will help the council to decide which proposals should be given planning permission within the Staples Corner Growth Area boundary.
The consultation will end 30 April 2023.
