Village Way Area NW10

Following officers’ assessments and visit to the area, it is proposed to install double yellow lines at certain locations like turning area, bends and where parking will be a problem if vehicles were to double park or even park on both sides of the carriageway. These proposals are in line with the Highway Code, 2007 edition, rule 243 which states that motorists should not park; “anywhere (that) would prevent access for Emergency Services, opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.
