Wembley Primary Safety School Scheme

The aim of the scheme is to:

• Prevent obstructive and dangerous parking;
• Improve visibility and traffic flow at the junction of East Lane and Blenheim Gardens by introducing a Yellow Box;
• Improve road safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists, particularly the vulnerable road users by reducing the volume of cars in Blenheim Gardens.
• Enable the Council to take effective enforcement action where vehicles stop to set down passengers or park on the proposed ‘At any time’ loading restrictions;
• Enable the Council to take effective enforcement action including the use of CCTV camera cars for the proposed pedestrian, cycle only zone within Blenheim Gardens. Subject to funding installation of ANPR Camera;
