Woodside Avenue CPZ
Since the introduction of the CPZ in the Beresford Avenue area the Council has received numerous complaints from residents on the periphery of the CPZ at difficulties with parking in their roads, traffic congestion and road safety generally. The area around the existing CPZs which include section of Mount Pleasant Road, Sunleigh Road, Woodside Avenue and Woodside Close have been identified as a high priority area for parking controls and it is therefore proposed either to extend the CPZ to the area shown on the plan overleaf or have a new CPZ, but only if there is majority support from the local community for the proposals. As part of the 2025-26 Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) programme, the Council has decided to consult residents on proposed CPZ measures for their street.
