Succession and Assignment Policy - Have your Say

Brent Council developed a new Succession and Assignment Policy, which sets out how the Council approaches the administration of tenancy successions, assignments, and the granting of discretionary tenancies for secure and introductory tenants.

We had an online survey live from 20th April 2026 to 31 May 2026, which was open to all Brent residents, including council tenants and leaseholders, as well as individuals and organisations who support them. We were grateful for the feedback we received, and the ‘You Said, We Did’ document below shares how your feedback impacted the final policy.
