FBM Architects in collaboration with Brent Borough Council propose the demolition of the existing garages and the construction of seven high quality courtyard-type houses with associated garden and amenity space.

The unit mix prioritises family-sized homes consisting of two 4-bedroom homes, three 3-bedroom homes and two 2-bedroom homes. The two-storey massing has been angled in profile to minimise impact on the adjacent gardens of the properties in Grendon Gardens and the Barn Hill Conservation Area. The massing is reduced to one storey as the development approaches Corringham Road.

This massing has been designed to comply with the Brent Design Guide. Access will be gained along Newland Court and will take the form of a shared surface pedestrian and vehicular mews.
